We are all thrilled about this house because of the location, location, location! You can almost throw a football and hit the Alamo Heights High School athletic fields, so it is an easy walk from the school for teens. The middle school is a short distance down New Braunfels, and we are adding ample parking with alley access to give plenty of easy access for drivers. Interested in going car-free? You’ll be walking distance to almost everything, including at least five bus stops, so you’ll hardly ever have to wait.
Shopping, Dining, and Culture at your door
The Alamo Quarry is a 5 minute drive/9 minute bike/30 minute bus or walk from the house, with all the dining and shopping you could hope for, along with a weekly farmers market offering locally sourced goods. The McNay Art Museum is an easy walk down the street, and you can grab coffee and a bagel on your way at the Boss Bagel shop across the street.

This location is truly at the heart of everything, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find pleasure in staying home. We have an entertainers dream planned for indoor/outdoor dining and entertainment, an open floor plan that invites guests into a stunning kitchen, and a main bedroom en suite and closet that will knock your socks off. We have modernized everything mechanical, but we preserved some of the original character in the home by keeping the original wood floors (freshly refinished), and a unique original bookcase.
