We’ve helped walk a single mother through how to contact the bank and what to say to get a home equity loan after a contractor took off with her savings and left an unfinished project. We helped another homeowner understand their property tax bill and why so many people were offering to pay less than that amount for the property (we ENCOURAGE you to CHALLENGE YOUR PROPERTY TAXES!!!! We are focusing on neighborhoods with a significant energy burden, and both homeowners and renters can benefit from advice on how to savemoney on utilitiesevery month, plus we have a few items (like UV window film and blackout curtains) that we love to tell people about as inexpensive ways to keep the heat at bay all day long.

Even more important than any information we give is the wealth of information we get from talking to residents in the communities we serve.
