We talk to homeowners and Real Estate professionals every day who are dealing with a variety of situations. From the time our family started this company, we knew that sharing the information we had learned was an important part of our mission to help homeowners facing real estate challenges.

While we DO buy houses, our favorite moments in our company history occurred when no property was exchanged, just free advice that helped a homeowner in a difficult situation find a solution that worked for them. We have worked hard to understand the ins and outs of the residential redevelopment business and we are giving away advice FOR FREE to anyone who asks.

This is one of the most important ways we continue serving our community: by empowering homeowners to make informed decisions and regain control of an overwhelming situation.

We have stories of helping homeowners in many, many situations. We’ve helped walk a single mother through how to contact the bank and what to say to get a home equity loan after a contractor took off with her savings and left an unfinished project. We helped another homeowner understand their property tax bill and why so many people were offering to pay less than that amount for the property (we ENCOURAGE you to CHALLENGE YOUR PROPERTY TAXES!!!! Ask us for more info, or KEEP OVERPAYING!). The list goes on, and we hope that whatever real estate issue you are facing, you won’t hesitate to ask for our advice. If you have a real estate question, please call or text 210-701-1202 and talk to one of our friendly Greenhab team members. We are a family owned local business and we love this area! We are owned and operated entirely by U.S. Military Veterans who want to give back to their community by helping people like you.

If you are interested in selling, we are happy to give you an offer upon request and tell you how to best negotiate with other cash buyers so you get the best price for your home. We certainly don’t want you to accept any LESS than we can offer! We are happy to tell you what you can expect to sell your home for if you list it using a Realtor, and we can explain the advantages and disadvantages of using a Realtor (we are NOT realtors) versus a cash buyer so you can decide which route makes sense in your situation.

Here are a few questions we answer all the time and can offer advice on (or direct you toward public or trustworthy resources to help):

  • What’s my home worth if I sell it right now?
  • I’m getting cash offers that are less than my mortgage/tax value; how do I negotiate with these buyers?
  • I inherited a property I can’t afford/don’t want. What are my options?
  • What would it cost to fix my home up to get the highest sale price?
  • Why is my tax bill so high and how can I lower it?
  • If I rent my house out, what could I charge?
  • What are some CHEAP ways to save money on electricity this summer?
  • I’m facing foreclosure and want to STAY in my home, who do I talk to? (Start HERE to avoid foreclosure, and then HERE for Veterans)
  • I’m a Veteran and want to learn more about my VA Home Loan benefits, where should I start? Aligned Mortgage will give you a ton of info in a great seminar… with a meal!
  • My tax bill went up or seems high, how do I lower it? (deadline to challenge is May 16, 2022, contact TexasTaxProtest.com for more info)

We are focusing on neighborhoods with a significant energy burden, and both homeowners and renters can benefit from advice on how to save money on utilities every month, plus we have a few items (like UV window film and blackout curtains) that we love to tell people about as inexpensive ways to keep the heat at bay all day long.

Even more important than any information we give is the wealth of information we get from talking to residents in the communities we serve. We love to hear why you moved to that area, what makes you stay, what you love, or what you wish was different. We want to be a force for positive change in every neighborhood we visit and we hope you’ll stop and talk to us when you see us nearby!
